About Glen Greer
Glen Greer first worked in the security industry when
he joined Expamet International in the UK in 1985.
Expamet was expanding rapidly through acquisition in
the security industry in Europe and in the US. He moved to the US in
1986 and has served as President of three
corporations, Expamet Inc., Radionics Inc. (acquired by Bosch) and
Casi-Rusco Inc (acquired by GE). The latter two are both
cutting-edge electronic security companies, developing
hardware and software products. At both
companies, he was heavily involved in product line
renewal, the introduction of new product development
methodologies and building close relationships with
major installers, integrators and end users. He has
twice been elected to the Board of Directors of the Security Industry
Association (SIA) and has been a member of ASIS since 1989.
Prior Industry Experience
His business career began in the Aero Engine Division
of Rolls-Royce Limited, where he worked in the MIS
group as a Systems Analyst. He subsequently moved
into the Finance and Accounting field, working as a
Management Accountant for a large Fork Lift Truck
manufacturer and as Financial Controller in the EMI
Medical Group, the company that invented the CAT
Scanner.
He was based in France for six years as Operations
Director for PGL Voyages, a major UK travel company.
In 1985, he joined Expamet International and began
his interest in the security industry.

Glen Greer holds Bachelor degrees in Engineering and
Economics from Birmingham University, Birmingham,
England and a Masters Degree in Business
Administration from Emory University, Atlanta,
Georgia. He speaks fluent French.
